Colleen Brzozowski Appointed to FICP Hospitality Partner Committee
Grand Traverse Resort & Spa's Director of Sales, Colleen Brzozowski, has been appointed to the Hospitality Partner Committee of the Financial and Insurance Conference Planners Association (FICP). The appointment was formally announced at the association's annual meeting held in Toronto in November.
Ms. Brzozowski has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality and meetings industry and was named the Resort's director of Sales in 2007. She has been with Grand Traverse Resort & Spa since November of 2001, when she started as an Executive Meeting Manager. Eight months later, she was promoted to National Sales Manager and focused on clients in Southwest Michigan as well as in the Corporate, Association, Government and SMERF markets in the Midwest and West. In her capacity as Director of Sales, Ms. Brzozowski leads the Resort's sales team of professionals, and represents the Resort to clients in the Insurance and Financial markets and well as managing key meetings accounts.
Before joining the Resort, Ms. Brzozowski had previous experience as Sales Manager for the Yarrow Golf & Conference Center near Battle Creek, and was Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn - Kalamazoo Airport.
Ms. Brzozowski is an active member of the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners Association (FICP) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She attended Western Michigan University where she majored in Business Administration and Marketing.
