Mt. Pleasant Area Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Mount Pleasant Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (MPACVB) has officially settled into a new office space. The new location, 200 E. Broadway St., combines three businesses under one roof. The Mount Pleasant Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce and Middle Michigan Development Corporation are now efficiently working together in one location.

“This new configuration truly makes sense. All three businesses work closely together, so having everyone in one office makes it easier for everyone,” said Chris Rowley, Executive Director of the MPACVB. In addition to working in one office, the new location offers a consolidated phone system and a shared receptionist to ensure a call or question is directed to the correct person. “This new system allows a much faster and easier line of communication to the customer, Rowley said.”

The new location, which is the former Isabella Bank building, is just a block east of the MPACVB’s old location. Members of the community and visitors alike are encouraged to stop in the new office and take a look around.

The MPACVB is a destination marketing organization for Mount Pleasant and Isabella County, Michigan. Founded in 1988, the MPACVB has provided visitor information on the area for 20 years and also operates Michigan’s Central Swing and the Mount Pleasant Sports and Entertainment Commission.
